The Apparatus is a site specific artwork that subjects spectators and passersby to various common temptations presented in bowls on white sculpture plinths.   There is a sign presented alongside the offering that clearly reads "please don't take the ...money, candy, drugs,"  The spectator is aware that these are presented without supervision or monitor.  It is up to them to decide if right and wrong are of enough interest or importance to resist the item.  Inside a gallery nearby, multiple televisions play live stream social media broadcasts of the actions of indiviuals outside.  This is entitled "The Inner Party" and it reflects the privatized observations conducted by the government through internet, cell usage, GPS and web media.    The entire objective is a hoax.  You are enticed to take or do something that isn't entirely yours without the notification that a broader audience is enjoying the opportunity to view your actions.   On a hum
